What's New
- AutoCAD
2008 Compatible: the CGSurvey 9 drawing file is AutoCAD 2007
format which is AutoCAD 2008 compatible and Windows VISTA compatible.
- New
Intersect toolbar: user can perform all the various types of
intersections from an on screen toolbar. The resulting intersection
location appears as a red “X” on the screen and the user can decide to
save the result to the coordinate file or simple review the results.
- New
Point Symbol Dialog Box: shows images of ALL
symbol drawings found in the Symbols directory. The
images are extracted from the drawings found in the Symbols
directory and no longer use pre-prepared slides. This makes it easy for
the user to customized C&G point symbols or add new symbols. Just
use AutoCAD to edit a symbol or create a new one and save it to the Symbols
directory.
- New
Deed Reader: enter the ASCII or TXT data for the deed, by
hand, or by cut and paste or read deed data from deed file. From
the data watch the program draw the deed file for you.
- New
Legal Description: gives you the ability to create a detailed
legal description from an AutoCAD polyline.
- New
Point Manager: manage all aspects of the coordinate file,
change file name, delete file, copy file, edit file, change description
length, change the file format, edit file location, add delete and
renumber points, and more.

Edit Coordinate File: now you can edit the coordinate file in
the CGEditor.
- New
Associate Coordinate File: the user can associate a different
coordinate file with the C&G entities in the drawing.

Renumber Points: allows the user to renumber a point range
and overwrite existing points if desired.

Label Lot/Areas: pick in side an area defined by points in a
point group, intersecting lines or polylines. Then place lot
numbers, areas or both in the center of the area or at the cursor
location.

3D faces from Tin: create a 3D face from the C&G tin file.

create & Plot a Grid File: create a Carlson grid file
(*grd) from #D entities selected from drawing

Shrinkwrap: introducing a Carlson feature, which creates a
closed polyline, that encloses a given set of entities to be used in
various other routines for inclusion or exclusion of entities.

Draw Mapcheck: allows the user to draw lines, points, and
bearings specified in a C&G (*.CGM) Mapcheck file.

Carlson Point Symbols: we have add the 175 Carlson symbols to
the C&G library.

new setup feature that allows you to define layer defaults and new
description options.

Drawing Settings, Topographic Settings and Call Settings.
- Place Calls: a new option Reverse
Direction, that allows you to simple pick a call bearing and reverse
the call direction.
- Drawing Inspector: will display

LDT proxy entities,
- Description Tables: now able to
convert a Feature Code List for SurvCE (*.FCL) file to be used for
“Field to Finish routine.
- SurvNET: added over 20 new features
and improvements to the program like help files, menu options for
editing various reports, add UTM and New Brunswick projection maps,
added additional data validations in the processing, plus improved the
processing time by over 30% and much more….
- Zoom to a Point: now has a rubber
band line to show where the point was to is located.
- Coordinate Transformations: changed
the user interface to be more user friendly.
- Bearing Area and Hinge/Radial Cutoff: allows
user to pick an AutoCAD or C&G polylines to specify property
corners.

Return Policy: All products are sold
without return privileges. Request for product Return
Materials Authorization
requires prior authorization from Carlson Software. Such returned
product must be current, new, unmarked and in original packaging with
all warranty information as originally supplied and is subject to a 15%
re-stocking charge. All authorized returns must be shipped prepaid with
statement of the original invoice number and date, and delivered to a
certified carrier within 15 days of the product return authorization.
Products returned without prior authorization from Carlson Software
will be returned to the sender at the sender's expense.
