Carlson Software Salutes Survey Heroes

In reference to the POB article titled "Safety in the Trenches" (01/24/2003), Carlson Software is pleased to be associated with the survey heroism at the World Trade Center. We salute Chris Pirano who is pictured in the article and is a long-time user of SurvCADD as an employee of the New York City Department of Design & Construction. We also note that in another article titled "Saved by Surveying, Satellite and Skill" (01/24/2003) regarding the QueCreek coal mine rescue, SurvCADD was mentioned as a valuable tool in helping to position equipment for the rescue drillhole (located nearly 1 mile from the nearest control point). We consider it a privilege to be associated with the surveying profession, and particularly so with the heroes of that profession.
